Baby Christening

Christenings at IBOC are a time of prayer and dedication for an infant, as families present their child before God with thanksgiving for the gift of new life. During this special blessing, we pray for God’s divine covering, asking Him to place a hedge of protection around the child and to guide their steps as they grow. It is also a meaningful opportunity for parents and families to publicly commit to raising their child in a Christ-centered home, nurturing them in faith, love, and biblical truth.

Christenings are typically designated for children under one year of age and are held on 5th Sundays.
